Thank you to everyone who supported RE:Cycle Ride
Thanks to all riders, supporters, volunteers and companies who helped to make our first major fundraiser and cycle event a success. For a list of wonderful companies who supported us please see out ‘Friends’ page- we could not have done it without you all!
Cyclists took to the scenic Peak District roads on the 6th October 2013 for the RE:Cycle Ride charity cycle sportive.
Three route options were available to challenge every ability including:
20 miles: Fantastic riding under gritstone edges and through scenic valleys, just because this route is short didn’t mean there were no climbs invloved. There’s was no shame in getting off and pushing for a bit though!
60 miles: The best of the White and Dark Peak routes, including some tough climbs with over 6500 feet of ascent and scenic descents.
100 miles: Over 10 000 feet of climbing, this route was not for the faint of heart! Taking in the Mam Nick hill climb, heading all the way out to the beautiful Goyt Valley and through picturesque villages in the White Peak, this route took in all the Peak District has to offer.
